BEER
Yeah, beer and mountain bikes. Like peanut butter and jelly, eggs and bacon, and Doc Brown and Marty McFly.
I’m in search of someone that knows a lot about beer, mountain bikes, and likes to talk. The knowledge of beer can come from home brewing, drinking a lot, working in the industry - whatever works for you.
Why? I want a regular show on Mountain Bike Radio that combines the two. There is a good radio show here called American Craft Beer Radio that airs on the local sports station Saturday mornings and it’s a good and informative listen. Between that and my new favorite show, How Booze Built America, I think it’d be cool to shoot the shit about bikes and beer on the air. People can call in and give shoot outs to their favorite beer, favorite bike, whatever. Small brewers can come on, do whatever. It’s an open idea and show.
What will it be called? Maybe something simple and obvious like “The Bikes and Beer Show.” Or maybe something like “Cog and Hops”. Who knows. Maybe I’ll invite ideas and we’ll do a Facebook tournament to come up with the name.
